Four bus routes serving Sandhurst, Crowthorne, and Warfield are being discontinued after Bracknell Council deemed the costs too high compared to the number of passengers using them.

Instead, individuals who previously relied on these buses are advised to use charity-operated minibuses.

The decision comes in the wake of a failed petition aimed at saving the services, alongside the absence of additional funding from local councils.

Bus users in the affected areas will now need to seek alternative travel solutions, with the council recommending community-led transport options to fill the gap.

According to Bracknell Council, the financial burden of maintaining these routes does not justify their continuation given the current ridership levels.
