Bucks man charged with multiple rapes Berkshire and Oxfordshire

The 54 year old met his victims on dating websites and apps

A man from High Wycombe has been charged with multiple serious offences following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.

54 year old Andrew Dent of Desborough Road is facing nine counts of rape, along with additional charges.

The charges relate to two women being raped, sexually assaulted, strangled and assaulted on separate occasions after meeting on a dating website or app.

Police say a woman in her thirties from South Wales, suffered an attack in a hotel in West Berkshire on 19th June 2024. During the incident, intimate photographs of her were taken without her consent.

A woman in her fifties from London, experienced a similar ordeal at an address in Henley-on-Thames on 26th October 2024.

Alongside the rape charges, Dent faces five counts of sexual assault by penetration, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of voyeurism.

Dent has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Reading Crown Court on 4th March 2024.
