Police issue CCTV image after sexual assault in Berkshire
It happened on an Elizabeth line train
Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train from Reading to Abbey Wood have released an image in connection with it.
British Transport Police say it happened just after 8am on Wednesday 20 August 2025, when a man boarded the train at Maidenhead and approached a woman.
A spokesperson said:
"He sexually assaulted her multiple times throughout the journey and was seen touching himself inappropriately before leaving the train at West Drayton.
"Detectives believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
"The man is also believed to have information relating to two similar incidents, one on an Elizabeth Line train from Slough to West Drayton railway station on Tuesday 18 November, and one at Slough railway station on Friday 25 July. "
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 196 of 20 August.
