The construction of a new storage facility is well underway in Bracknell after offices were demolished on the site earlier this year.
Hoardings around a building site in Western Road have been up for months while construction work takes place.
The site was previously occupied by the offices of the RSA cybersecurity company, which vacated the building in March 2020.
Styles Views, a drone pilot from Binfield, has documented its demolition, which was finished earlier this year.
New photos from the site show the roof and superstructure for the new building complete.
A computer image from the time plans were submitted in 2022 shows a sizeable building with space for lorries.
However, adjustments were made to the appearance following the submission of the project.
As constructed, the building is light grey, is four storeys tall and has solar panels on the roof.
The offices, called RSA House, were demolished after Bracknell Forest Council approved a project to replace it with the new facility in October 2023.
After that, the landowner Angle Property applied to increase the height of the facility from 13.2 metres to 14.7 metres, which was approved in April 2024.
It is now known that the new warehouse will be occupied by Shurgard thanks to details provided on the Construction Map website.
The build is being conducted by the contractor Mitchell Design and Construction Ltd, which started work on the site on Monday, March 9.
Work is required to complete the exterior of the building, ready for Shurgard to fit it out with its range of five hireable storage units at a later date.
The company serves both individual clients and other businesses by providing a secure place to store valuables and goods.
The Shurgard website states: “At certain moments in life, you might need a temporary storage solution.

Describing what service Shurgard can offer businesses, the website states: “Self-storage allows you to create space in your work premises.
“And it prevents your home becoming an overspill for equipment, tools or stock.

“At Shurgard, you can give your suppliers or staff access to your storage unit so you don’t have to be onsite each time a delivery arrives.”
Mitchell Design and Construction is due to finish its work on Friday, November 27.
It is unclear when Shurgard will open in Bracknell.
