Fourth arrest as Bracknell murder investigation continues
A man in his 30s was found dead on Market Street on Sunday
A fourth man has been arrested in connection to the ongoing murder investigation in Bracknell.
The Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit has confirmed that the 33-year-old, from Bracknell, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder on Tuesday (28 April).
He joins three other men, aged 35, 27, and another 33-year-old, who were previously arrested.
The investigation began when police were called to Market Street on the 26th April after reports of a deceased man in his thirties.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, Head of the Major Crime Unit, stated that the investigation is still in its early stages but reassured the public that several lines of enquiry are being pursued:
"“I would ask that at this time people refrain from speculation on social media or other mediums whilst we investigate to find the truth behind this incident and loss of life.
"I would also ask that if anyone has information regarding the circumstances of this offence to make contact with us as soon as possible”.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them.
