Bracknell man charged after woman dies from head injuries

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Bracknell.

Police were called to an address in Birkdale shortly before 7am on Wednesday (15th July) after receiving reports that a woman had sustained a head injury.

South Central Ambulance Service attended, but despite their efforts, 40-year-old Natalie Clements was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Home Office post mortem examination has determined that she died as a result of her head injuries, he family is being given specialist support.

Matthew Robert Wilkie, a 48-year-old from Liscombe, Bracknell, has been charged with her murder.

He has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear at Reading Magistrates Court today (Friday 17th July).
