Boy suffers serious injuries in Maidenhead
Police appeal for witnesses to assault
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Maidenhead.
At approximately 10.30pm on Monday 30 March a boy in his teens was assaulted in the alleyway between Calder Close and Calder Court by an unknown number of people, causing serious injuries to his hand. He was taken to hospital where he received treatment.
As part of the investigation into this incident, Police have arrested a 24-year-old man from Bradford and a 20-year-old man from Slough on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent. They have both been released from custody on conditional police bail to allow for further enquiries to take place.

Investigating officer, DS Manminder Purewal, of Maidenhead’s Criminal Investigation Department, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, or saw anything suspicious, to please come forward.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage that may assist this investigation.
