Kidnap attempt on two boys in Basingstoke
Boys aged 12 and 13 offered money to get in to a car
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted kidnapping incident on Great Binfields Road, Lychpit in Basingstoke.
It was reported that at around 5.44pm yesterday, Wednesday, 1 February, two men in a black Volkswagen approached two boys aged 12 and 13 and offered them money to get in the vehicle.
The boys ran to a nearby supermarket and the vehicle drove off.
Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries and as part of our investigation we are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch.
