Police launch investigation after attack in Reading leaves man with fractured elbow and cheek
A second victim injured his knee but did not need hospital treatment
Police are appealing for witnesses two people were attacked in Reading.
At around 10.20pm on Friday (3/10), two victims in their twenties were attacked by a group of five men on Wokingham Road in the Palmer Tavern’s car park.
The first offender is described as a white man, approximately 6ft 3in tall, with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up.
The second man is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of a slim build, with a beard. He was wearing a green baseball cap, a white or grey T-shirt, and dark trousers.
The third individual is described as a white man, 6ft 1in tall, he had dark hair, a dark beard.
Officers say they don’t have a further descriptions of the other two offenders.
The first victim suffered a fractured elbow and cheek as well as suffering a laceration to his head. He received hospital treatment but has since been released.
The second victim injured his knee but did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant, Aimee Usher, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have CCTV or dash-cam footage that can assist our enquiries.
“I am also appealing to anyone else who witnessed this incident or has information that may help us to get in touch.
