Appeal for witnesses to assault and dangerous driving at Chieveley Services
It happened around 2pm on Friday 12 September.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault and dangerous driving incident at Chieveley Services, off the M4, in Berkshire.
Around 2pm on Friday 12 September, a motorbike was followed into the service station by a van. The offender has exited the van and assaulted the motorbike rider. The victim, a man in his forties, was then driven at by the offender in the van, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim required hospital treatment and has since been discharged.
The offender is described as a white man of a medium to large build in his thirties.
Investigation Support Officer Sophie Lindstrom-Bond said, “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this this assault, or anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.
“We would also specifically like to speak to the person who helped the victim at the scene.
