Appeal for witnesses after 18-year-old suffers serious injury in Reading crash

Dashcam footage may help police investigate collision on Kings Road

Thames Valley Police are seeking witnesses after a serious road crash on Kings Road, Reading, involving a motorcycle and two vehicles.

The collision occurred yesterday at approximately 1.40pm when a black Yamaha motorcycle, travelling eastbound on Kings Road, collided with a white Nissan Juke and a blue Nissan Qashqai.

The motorcycle rider, an 18-year-old man, has sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and is currently hospitalised.

Investigating officer PS Rob Oliver-Clayson from the Roads Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident which has left a man with life-threatening injuries.

"I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward and ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
