Appeal following Ibworth collision that has left two women in hospital

Two vehicles collided with each other on the A339, close to Pitt Hall Farm Cottages

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A339 near Ibworth that took place yesterday afternoon.

Police were called at 2:10pm yesterday (7 April) to reports of a collision on the A339, close to Pitt Hall Farm Cottages, involving a silver Citroen C3 and a black Range Rover.

The Citroen, which was travelling from the Kingsclere direction towards Basingstoke, collided with the Range Rover travelling in the opposite direction.

Two women in their 30s, the driver and passenger of the Citroen, remain in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

The driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 40s, was uninjured.

The incident remains under investigation and police are urging anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact them.
