Appeal after fatal collision near Basingstoke

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage, after a fatal collision in Upton Grey.

Police were called at 10:16am on Tuesday 16 June, to a report of a collision on Church Street, involving a pedestrian and a Mercedes Sprinter delivery van.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital, where he died yesterday (17 June).

As part of the investigation, officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage, if you have not already spoken to them.
