Man arrested after multiple stabbing in Andover
It happened on Thursday night
Three people have suffered stab wounds after an incident at a house in Andover.
Police say they were called to Till Close late on Thursday night where they found a man and a woman with upper body stab wounds.
A third person intervened and received a minor injury to his arm.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:
"We were called at around 10pm on 17 September to reports of a serious assault at an address on Till Close, Andover.
"On arrival, a man and a woman, both in their 40s, were located within an address with stab wounds to their upper bodies. Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
"A third man intervened and sustained a minor injury to his forearm.
"A 26-year-old man from Andover was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possessing a weapon in a public place, and common assault of an emergency work.
"He remains in custody at this time."
