Rider fails to stop for police in Andover

Police are seeking the rider of an orange motorbike following a failure to stop for officers in Andover.

The incident occurred between 1.40pm and 1.50pm on Saturday 6th December 2025 along Charlton Road, Manor Road and Old Down Road.

According to police, the rider was seen speeding and overtaking dangerously before colliding with a parked vehicle. They continued past the collision, riding across grass, onto a footbridge, and heading towards Stubbs Court.

CCTV images have now been released as part of efforts to identify the rider.

PC Robert Penn, from Andover's District Policing Team, said: “We are working hard to catch up and deal with the rider in question and would urge anyone with any information about the bike or its rider to please get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity."

He added: “To members of the community in Andover, I’d like to reassure you all that we are continuing to work tirelessly to tackle and disrupt anti-social behaviour in our area, including nuisance vehicle use.

“Your information is vital to us, so please continue to report incidents and share information with us.”
