CCTV image released in Andover assault investigation

Hampshire Police officers investigating an assault in Andover have released a CCTV still of a man they wish to speak with.

It was reported that on 16 August, at around 7.30pm, there was an altercation on the pathway next to the river opposite Iceland on Western Avenue.

A man in his 50s was then assaulted, causing a serious injury to his wrist.

The force said:

"We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for any information that may assist our investigation"

The man is described as being Asian, around 20 to 30-years-old, around 6ft 3ins tall, with black hair. He was wearing all black, with sandals and glasses.
