Two in hospital after three-vehicle crash near Basingstoke

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a serious collision involving three vehicles on the A339 Kingsclere Road, near Basingstoke.

The incident occurred just after 8pm on Wednesday, 14th January 2026, and involved a black Mercedes CLS 250, a silver BMW 118, and a silver Subaru Forester.

A man in his 80s, who was driving the Subaru, and a woman in her 20s, who was behind the wheel of the BMW, were taken to hospital for treatment. Both sustained serious injuries, but their conditions are not life-threatening.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage from the moments leading up to it.

Investigators urge those who might have witnessed the collision or captured footage to come forward to assist with enquiries.
