Young people in Andover will help create a new community mural in the town centre.

Local artist Kezia Hoffman will work with young people from Andover Young Carers, Breakout Youth and Yellow Brick Road to design and paint the artwork on Chantry Street.

The Test Valley Borough Council project will see participants develop their ideas through creative workshops, helping shape the mural’s final design.

An advertising consent application has been submitted for the council-owned wall, which is next to the existing Hendog artwork.

Subject to consent being granted, the co-design workshops will take place later this summer.
