West Berkshire Council and Greenham Trust have launched the Community Wellbeing Fund, a £110,000 initiative supporting mental health, wellbeing, and physical activity programs for local residents.

The fund is open to community and voluntary organizations, granting them financial aid to enhance existing services, purchase equipment, or create new projects focused on mental health and wellbeing.

Priority is given to proposals serving the areas of West Berkshire that require the most support.

Councillor Patrick Clark emphasized the role of connected communities in enhancing wellbeing and expressed the council's commitment to aiding local projects with meaningful impact.

Rob Daniels from Greenham Trust highlighted the aim of the fund to empower communities by providing necessary resources to address real needs, including mental health support and reducing social isolation.

Organizations can apply to the fund at any time, with submissions reviewed by an expert panel on a rolling basis.

Further details and application forms are available at the Community Wellbeing Fund - Greenham Trust website.
