Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop road traffic collision between Creighton and Woodham, Buckinghamshire.

Just after 8.35pm on Friday, a white Mercedes AMG travelling towards Bicester on the A41 in Woodham was involved in a head-on collision with a red Citroën C4 travelling in the opposite direction. The incident occurred between the junction with Creighton Road in Woodham and Kingswood.

The driver of the Citroën, a 55-year-old woman, is in a serious condition in hospital.

Lead investigating officer, DS Lyndsey Blackaby, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses following this collision which has left a woman with serious injuries.

“We are also asking any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it. In particular, we are keen to hear from anyone whose footage shows a person walking along the A41 between Woodham and the Kingswood area.”
