Man knocked unconscious during Stevenage car park assault
Police are looking for witnesses and information
Hertfordshire Police are looking for witnesses and information following an early morning assault in Stevenage.
The attack happened between 7.15am and 7.45am on Friday 12th June at the railway station’s multi-storey car park.
A man in his 50s was knocked unconscious for a brief period before being assisted by passers-by.
According to police, the suspect is described as a pale-skinned man aged between 30 and 35, approximately 5ft 6ins to 5ft 9ins tall, with a slight build.
He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit top, either matching tracksuit bottoms or jeans, and white trainers.
PC Neil Gooray, who is leading the investigation, has urged anyone with information to come forward.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward," PC Gooray said.
"The victim had to rush to get his train and was therefore unable to get the details of the people who helped him after the assault."
