Witnesses appeal after cyclist seriously injured in Great Gaddesden collision

Police are appealing for witnesses, information, and dash cam footage after a serious road traffic collision near Hemel Hempstead on Friday morning (5 December).
The incident occurred at approximately 9.30am on Gaddesden Row in Great Gaddesden. A cyclist travelling from Jockey End towards Hemel Hempstead was involved in a collision with a white Kia Sorento, though the cause of the crash remains unclear.
The cyclist sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Sergeant Luke Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said:
“Our investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances around the collision.
“As part of our enquiries, we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward. Did you witness the collision or see the pedal cycle or the vehicle in the area around the time?
“We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured dash cam footage. If you have something of note, this can be uploaded online."
