Authorities are asking the public for help identifying someone who may have information about a stabbing at Harwoods Recreation Ground.

Police are investigating an attempted murder after a 35-year-old man was stabbed at around 8.30pm on Sunday 12 October at Harwoods Recreation Ground off Vicarage Road, Watford. He was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition.

Detective Constable Vishal Khanna, from Watford’s CID, said: “Since this incident occurred, we have been exploring several different avenues of enquiry and we are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the person pictured. We want to stress that they are not being treated as a suspect, but as a person who may have information that could assist our investigation. If this person is you, or you think you may know who it is, then please contact us as soon as possible.”

Five people have been charged in connection with the assault. All but one have been remanded in custody, with the fifth released on conditional bail.
