Two boys stabbed in Borehamwood assault

Their injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening

Two teenage boys have been stabbed in Borehamwood, and a third teenager was also injured.

They were leaving Aberford Park when they were assaulted on Gateshead Road on Wednesday evening (September 27), at around 7:30-8pm.

It's reported the group were approached by a group of three men who they didn't know, and two were stabbed whilst a third was also injured, before all being taken to hospital.

Their injuries aren't thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Detective Sergeant Daniel Webb, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are continuing to appeal for information.

“I appreciate this may cause some concern among the local community, and my team is doing all it can to establish the full circumstances around this assault.

“We are increasing patrols in the area as a result, and would encourage anyone with information to please contact police as we work to trace the suspects.

“Anyone with information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, is asked to please get in touch.”
