Tributes paid to 'loving and caring' man after fatal stabbing in Luton

The daughter of a man who died following a fatal stabbing in Luton has paid tribute to him as a "loving and caring person."
Emergency services were called to a property on Highbury Road at around 11:05pm on Wednesday, 8 January, following reports of a serious stabbing. Martin Sullivan, aged 63, was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
In a heartfelt tribute, Martin’s daughter said: “My dad was a very loving and caring person who would help anyone. He will be very much missed by all his friends and family. He’ll never be forgotten.”
On Sunday, 12 January, Abul Kasim, 25, of Perrysfield Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, was arrested in connection with the incident. He was charged with murder the following day and has been remanded into custody.
Kasim is scheduled to appear at Luton Crown Court on Thursday, 16 January.
