East midlands and CrossCountry train delays over signalling fault

Train delays and cancellations are expected up until 11am today between Birmingham New Street and Stansted Airport / Cambridge, as well as Leicester and Birmingham New Street.

That's due to a signalling system fault between Leicester and Bedford.

Network Rail say they are working to investigate the problem but are urging rail users to expect delays and check before travelling.
