A 3 year-old is in a life‑threatening condition after a collision in High Wycombe.

At around 7pm on Saturday the incident occurred between a black Kia Sportage and the child on Hicks Farm Rise at the entrance to the Jet petrol station.

No arrests have been made.

Investigating officer PC Jessica Howells, part of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision that left a boy with serious injuries to please come forward.

“I also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
