Three men have been charged following an aggravated burglary at a home in Broughton near Aylesbury earlier this month.

Thames Valley Police say the burglary happened at a property in Coal Mews at around 9.15pm on 3 May. The offenders forced their way inside and threatened the people living there. The occupants challenged the men, who then left the property taking personal items. The occupants suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.

Tom Loveridge, 43, who has no fixed address, was charged with one count of aggravated burglary on 14 May. Taffyn Betnay, 34, of Benouville Close, Oxford, was charged with the same offence on 26 June. Tony Cooke, 25, from Eastfields, Blewbury, Oxfordshire, was charged on 30 June.

All three men have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court during the week starting 13 October.
