Grove Road cordon lifted as device removed
A suspicious device discovered at a residence on Grove Road in Tring prompted swift action by authorities earlier today.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to evaluate the item following its discovery.
As a safety precaution, a 50-metre cordon was established around the area, leading to road closures.
Herts Police issued a statement on the situation, noting: "Road closures are currently in place in Tring following the discovery of a suspicious device at a home on Grove Road. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team have been called to assess the item. A 50 metre cordon is in place as a precaution and to ensure the safety of members of the public."
