A man in his 20s is in hospital following a stabbing in Dunstable early on Sunday morning (16th August).

Emergency services responded to reports of the incident at Eleanor’s Cross around 4am, where they discovered the man with serious injuries.

He was transported to the hospital where his condition is described as stable and not life-threatening.

Detective Inspector Scott Fowler said the police would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time.

He said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that may support our ongoing enquiries.

“There is no place for knife crime or violence in our communities. We would urge anyone with information to contact us – even the smallest detail could prove vital to our investigation.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the police as the investigation continues.
