One in hospital after St Albans industrial fire
Two air ambulances were among the crews sent to Ventura Park
A patient has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at an industrial unit in St Albans.
East of England Ambulance Service said it was called at 9:25am on Tuesday, 11th August, to a large industrial unit at Ventura Park, Old Parkbury Lane, Colney Street.
Three ambulances, three ambulance officer vehicles, the Hazardous Area Response Team and two air ambulances were sent to the scene.
One patient was taken by road to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.
A further two patients were assessed and discharged at the scene.
