Appeal for dash cam footage after St Albans pedestrian collision

A 48-year-old man was injured in Marshalswick Lane incident

Police are asking for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision involving a car and pedestrian in St Albans.

The collision happened at around 4.10pm on 8th January on Marshalswick Lane, near the crossroads with Marshals Drive and Jersey Lane.

A silver Honda Jazz collided with a 48-year-old man, who was taken to hospital with severe head injuries and multiple fractures.

According to officers, the driver of the car stayed at the scene as investigations began.

PC Charles Lumm is now urging anyone with information to come forward.

“I understand that this collision occurred some weeks ago, but following new information being received, I am appealing for anyone who has information about this collision to contact me," PC Lumm said.

"If you have any dash cam footage or witnessed the incident, I want to hear from you.”
