Police trying to trace two potential witnesses to Leighton Buzzard train station sexual assault
A teenage girl was sexually assaulted last month, police are now looking for two people who were in the car park
Detectives are urgently trying to find two people who were walking through the car park at Leighton Buzzard railway station and may have witnessed a sexual assault in July.
At around 10.20am on 4th July, a teenage girl was sitting in the bus shelter outside the railway station when a man entered and began to sexually harass and assault her.
The girl left the bus shelter to escape the man.
A man in his 70s has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of sex-based harassment causing alarm and distress, sexual assault, and sexual communication with a child.
He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
