Second man charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Milton Keynes

Court appearance set for Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court

A second man has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Fariss Kapaga-Fakeer in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit announced the charge against Ja'siah Highton, a 26-year-old resident of Burholme, Milton Keynes.

Highton has been charged with one count of murder today, 10th July, and will appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court tomorrow, 11th July.

In a related development, a 31-year-old woman from Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on 9th July. She has been bailed pending further inquiries.

Thames Valley Police, supported by Gloucestershire Constabulary, conducted house searches as part of the ongoing investigation. These searches have concluded at an address on Melbourne Street, Tredworth, Gloucestershire.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and pursue leads.
