Pregnant woman taken to hospital after racial abuse incident in Hatfield

Police have released a photo of a man they wish to speak to

Hertfordshire Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to following a racial abuse incident in Hatfield.

The force say the incident happened happened outside Boots pharmacy in the town centre on Monday 24 March, just before 7.40pm. A man shouted racially motivated comments at a pregnant woman before she fell over. The victim suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.

PC Kyle Whitelaw, who is investigating, said: “We are releasing this image of a person who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information that could assist in our enquiries. If this is you or someone you recognise, please get in touch. I am also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has information to contact us."
