Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault and robbery in Aylesbury, which is suspected to be connected to another incident earlier in April.

The assault occurred on a footpath between Jackson Road and Aston Close around 12:40pm on 19th March 2026.

A man in his 70s was approached by a woman who engaged him in conversation before touching him inappropriately and offering sexual services.

She then stole his gold chain and fled down Jackson Road past Aston Close towards Autumn Close.

The police have described the woman as Malaysian or Thai in appearance, with an accent.

She is estimated to be in her early to mid-thirties, approximately 5ft to 5ft 2ins tall, with her hair tied up and wearing a black cap and light grey jogging suit.

Detective Constable Mandy Cutler is treating this incident as linked to a similar occurrence on 8th April.

Authorities are exploring potential connections to other incidents across the country.

Detective Cutler urges anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Thames Valley Police via their website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43260136355.

Digital evidence such as dash-cam, CCTV, and mobile footage can be uploaded to the police's dedicated portal.

The police are conducting house-to-house inquiries and collaborating with other forces to identify those responsible.

Det. Cutler reminded the community that the police are thorough in their investigations and determined to support both victims.

If anyone has information, they are encouraged to report it, noting that even seemingly insignificant details could assist the investigation.
