Police seek public help to trace 30-year-old man after Bedford stabbing

Police in Bedford are appealing for information from the public to help locate Berrelle Jones, 30, following a stabbing incident in the town centre.

The incident took place in a bar on High Street shortly after 2.30am on Monday, 6th April. Emergency services responded, and a man in his 20s was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.

Jones, from Barton Road, Bedford, is described as approximately 6’1” with short black hair and a beard.

Detective Constable Adam Lacey said, “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to locate Jones and are now asking anyone who knows where he is to come forward.”

Police urge anyone who might have seen Jones, know his whereabouts, or has information that could assist the investigation to report online at beds.police.uk/ro/report, call 101 quoting reference 40/18722/26, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

If Jones is seen, the public should call 999 immediately.

Following the incident, two men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of affray and are on bail with conditions while the investigation continues.
