Police investigating robbery after delivery driver's moped stolen
It happened Saturday evening at the junction of Brompton Close and Lygetun Drive in Luton
An investigation is underway in Luton following the robbery of a delivery driver, which resulted in the theft of a moped on the evening of 29th March.
The incident was reported at approximately 9.15pm at the junction of Brompton Close and Lygetun Drive, where a group of three to four men assaulted the driver and stole his vehicle.
The suspects are described as two white males and one Black male, all attired in black tracksuits with their faces concealed by hoods and balaclavas.
Leading the investigation, PC Lee Rogers said: "We have carried out proactive patrols, road blockades and CCTV enquiries as part of our investigation, and are now appealing to the public for information that could assist us.
“Even small pieces of information could be key to helping us trace the vehicle and identify those involved.”
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the robbery or has relevant footage from CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dashcams to come forward.
