Police investigate attempted murder in High Wycombe

A man was attached by three or four suspects who left him with serious injuries

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted murder in High Wycombe.

At around 12.05am on Tuesday (24 February), three or four suspects got out of a black BMW 1 Series on Hithercroft Road and attacked a man in his late teens, leaving him with serious injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

No arrests have yet been made.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Samantha Lee said:

“We know this attempted murder will cause concern, but we are investigating this as a high priority.

“People are likely to see an increased police presence in the area while officers and staff carry out enquiries. I understand people may have concerns but you are welcome to discuss these with any of our uniformed officers.

“Anyone with information or footage should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43260091741.
