Detectives given more time to question two teenagers after man is stabbed to death.

A teenage girl, who was arrested in Luton Monday (1 September) afternoon, has been given a 36-hour extension.

A teenage boy, who was arrested Tuesday (2 September) evening, has been given a further 12-hours in custody, allowing officers to keep them for further questioning.

This latest update follows the death of a man in Humberstone Road, Luton.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 6pm on Sunday (31 August) following reports of an altercation.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
