Police appeal for witnesses after fatal collision in Rickmansworth
A man aged in his 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene
Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a fatal road traffic collision in Rickmansworth.
At around 5.10pm yesterday (Sunday 26 April), a lorry and a Skoda Octavia were travelling along the A412 Denham Way when they were involved in a collision at the junction with Old Uxbridge Road.
Bedfordshire Police says the driver of the Skoda, a man aged in his 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say the lorry driver remained at the scene to assist officers with enquiries.
Detective Constable Felicity Walker, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Firstly, my thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this sad time.
“We are continuing to appeal for witnesses as we work to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
“Additionally, if you were driving at the time and have a dash cam fitted, please check it in case you recorded any crucial footage."
