Paraglider rescued from power lines in Maidenhead
They got caught up in Marlow last night
Emergency crews successfully rescued a person who became entangled in power lines while using a paraglider in Maidenhead.
A response team was dispatched to the scene, involving one crew from Maidenhead, one from Marlow, and supporting officers.
Specialist water rescue technicians entered the water with a boat, throw lines, grappling equipment, and a short extension ladder to reach the individual.
The person was conscious and breathing and has since been handed over to the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Thames Valley Police also attended and assisted in the operation.
