Partial closure orders for two addresses in Hemel Hempstead have granted.

The orders prevent anyone but the named tenants from entering the addresses for a period of three-months. Anyone who breaches them faces arrest.

Sergeant Christopher Bignell, from the CSU, said: “Despite repeated engagement, safeguarding, and enforcement activity, the problems associated with these addresses has continued and escalated. There were also concerns around the vulnerability of those living at the properties.

“The impact on the local community was significant, and the risks associated with ongoing drug activity remained high. We therefore worked to secure these orders, to help provide some much-needed respite to residents, while also allowing the tenants to remain in their homes.”

He added: “We will always do everything we can to target those who are causing misery and fear among local communities and we are already gathering evidence to apply for orders against further problem properties.

“If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact police. Every call helps us to build up the intelligence and evidence we need to take action.”
