Milton Keynes Dons have sacked Head Coach Scott Lindsey, just shy of six months after he got the job.

The Club released a statement yesterday afternoon explaining how they have 'parted ways' with the former Crawley FC boss.

In the statement, MK Dons went on to thank Lindsey for his efforts and 'wish him every success in the future'.

The Club say they will be in touch to update supporters soon.

The announcement comes after Saturday's defeat against Colchester United, bringing the tally to 11 losses in 16 League Two matches, since December last year.

52-year-old Scott Lindsey left his West Sussex side in September to drop a division and join the Dons, where he's spent just over five months.
