Heartfelt plea for missing teenager to return home in Houghton Regis
Lexi has not been seen for two weeks
A heartfelt appeal has been issued for a 14-year-old who has been missing from Houghton Regis for two weeks.
Lexi's family is desperate to know she is safe, and today a close family friend, Jessica Fensome, reached out through a video message.
“Lexi, your family and friends all miss you. Please get in contact with your mum, the police or me and come home,” Jessica Fensome said.
“You’re not in any trouble; we just want you home safe.”
Lexi is 5’2” with a fair complexion, blue eyes, and long straight ginger hair.
She was last seen wearing pale blue cycling shorts, a dark grey t-shirt, and black sliders.
Police seek public assistance
Police have shared Ring doorbell footage from the day before Lexi went missing, hoping it might provide leads.
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Rivers from Bedfordshire Police issued a statement:
“We are still urging anyone who knows of Lexi’s whereabouts or has seen her to please get in contact with us.
“We are growing increasingly concerned for her and want to reunite her with her family.”
She added: “Lexi – please contact us, Jessica or your family, we want you to return home safe and well.”
