Woman and child given emergency aid after bedroom blaze in Milton Keynes

Firefighters attended a house fire in Milton Keynes early this morning (27th January 2026) after a blaze broke out in a first-floor bedroom.

Crews from West Ashland were called to the property at 6:19am in the Eaglestone area of Milton Keynes.

The team tackled the fire using two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera, and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

While firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, they also provided immediate emergency care to a woman and two children who had left the property before their arrival.

No further details about the cause of the fire or the condition of those involved have been disclosed at this time.
