Terrace house fire in Hertfordshire
A man has been treated at the scene before being taken to hospital

Fire crews from across Hertfordshire were called to a serious blaze in Maple Cross, after reports of a building fire with people trapped inside.
Hertfordshire Fire Control confirmed that crews from Rickmansworth, Watford, Garston and Kings Langley were among the first responders dispatched to the scene at around 9 p.m. last night (24 September).
As the incident escalated, the response was increased to six fire engines.
An aerial ladder platform was also requested to assist as firefighters tackled the blaze.
A man was treated at the scene by East of England Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
His condition has not been confirmed.
The fire service confirmed at 7:30 a.m. today (25 September) that the fire is now out.
A spokesperson from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue said: “Thanks to the fast and dedicated work of our control room staff and firefighters last night, crew were on the scene within six minutes and were able to contain and prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring properties.
"We worked closely with colleagues from the ambulance service and police and are grateful to the public for avoiding the area to give our crews the space they need to undertake their work.”
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and an investigation is expected once the site is made safe.
