Police investigate early hours stabbing in Luton

The victim was found with stab wounds this morning

A man in his 40s has been stabbed in Luton this morning (9 April)prompting an urgent appeal for information from Bedfordshire Police.

Officers were called out to Unity House on Stuart Street at around around 6:30 am.

The victim was found with stab wounds and has been taken to hospital.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police say they continue to investigate the scene and are urging anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.

They added that officers are following several lines of inquiry related to the stabbing.
