A man has been sentenced for supplying class A drugs in Aylesbury following an investigation from Thames Valley Police.

It followed a search of Mumford and his car when officers from the Local Proactive Team in Aylesbury conducted a traffic stop of a black BMW 1 Series on St John’s Road. This took place on 22 February 2025.
Police found and recovered 15 wraps of class A drugs, namely cocaine and was then arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and was taken into police custody.
A subsequent search under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 at a related address on Lister Green uncovered ÂŁ1,090 in cash and a knuckle duster, which is an offence to possess, even in a private place.
A further pack of 10 wraps of Class A drugs fell from Mumford's trousers when he arrived at police custody.
He was charged on 23 February 2025 and pleaded guilty the following day at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court. He was remanded in custody until sentencing.
Investigating officer, PC Levi Fensom, said: “Mumford was supplying class A drugs across Aylesbury, showing complete disregard for the law and the harm these substances cause in our communities.
“We will continue to proactively target those responsible, via both visible patrols and covert tactics, aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders.
