John McCloud, 39, of Crest Road, High Wycombe, has been sentenced for possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

The sentencing occurred on Thursday, 11th June at Aylesbury Crown Court, where McCloud pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply controlled class A drugs.

He received a jail term of two years and four months.

McCloud was initially detained on 10th March at approximately 7.30pm under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Police seized crack cocaine, heroin, £289 in cash, and two mobile phones during the initial search.

A subsequent house search led to the seizure of scales, snap seal bags, and two additional mobile phones.

A total of 43 wraps of crack cocaine, weighing 5.34g, and 3 wraps of heroin, weighing 0.98g, were found.

McCloud was arrested and then charged the following day, 11th March.

PC Becky Burton of the High Wycombe Neighbourhood Disruption Team said: "Thames Valley Police does not tolerate drug supply in High Wycombe and I hope this sentence is a deterrent to other drug dealers.

"The supply of drugs is a serious cause of harm and it can often exploit the most vulnerable in our communities.

"We will continue to proactively target those responsible, via both visible patrols and covert tactics, aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders."
